Graduate Student Retreats

The Graduate Student Knowlegebase conducts multiple Graduate Student Retreats throughout the year. Retreats give graduate students the tools, time, and space to make progress on a writing project. Through a combination of workshops, support, and dedicated writing time, graduate writing retreats help expand graduate students' capacities as budding professional academic writers.

Reading Groups

International Relations Reading Group brings together faculty and students across several political science departments from across the globe. The group meets twice a quarter to discuss current work in the field and to workshop members’ own writing. On occasion, we also invite speakers to discuss their work and offer advice on professionalization. The group is coordinated by Professor Shamiran Mako.
