Ashur Yousuf Book Award

The Ashur Yousif book award was established in 2019 to recognize outstanding publishing in Assyrian studies. The award was named for professor, philosopher, writer, and author of the periodical Murshid Athuriyon (The Assyrian Guide) Ashur S. Yousif (1858 - 1915) who was born in the town of Harput in the Ottoman Empire.

Authors or organizations interested in nominating a text should send hard copies of text to the Assyrian Studies Association's address: 6101 Owensmouth Ave P.O. Box 632 Woodland Hills, CA 91365.

The winner will be announced at the annual meeting of the Middle Eastern Studies Association academic conference.
