Academic Culture Research Grant

The Assyrian Studies Association Academic Culture Research Grant is an annual grant of up to $1,000 for academic scholars and graduate students researching the understudies areas of Assyrian culture (e.g. music, art, poetry, archeology, DNA research, etc.). The grantee may choose to use the grant funds for conduct research that includes, but is not limited to:


The Assyrian Studies Association promotes interest in and scholarly study of Assyrians and Assyria. It provides means for the publication of scholarly research and other materials designed to promote Assyrian studies. It promotes cooperative activities and exchange of information within the field and facilitates contact between scholars and scholarly organizations.
