
Assyrian Studies Association Subcommittees
The Assyrian Studies Association has established five subcommittees as a vital part of our organizational structure. Comprising members of the Board of Directors, Advisory Board, and led in coordination with the Executive Director, these Subcommittees leverage the diverse expertise within our leadership to enhance operational efficiency and drive the Association's continued growth.
Programming & Education Subcommittee
The Programming & Education Subcommittee is responsible for developing, planning, and evaluating ASA's educational programs and initiatives, ensuring they align with the Association's mission and strategic priorities.

Archives Subcommittee
The Archives Subcommittee is responsible for the development and implementation of the Heritage Archives Initiative; to solicit out-of-print books and other historical and culturally relevant materials for digitization and preservation. After preserving the materials, the goal of the committee is to catalog and to make them accessible to scholars and lay people; and to coordinate with the Fundraising Subcommittee for financial support.

Newsletter Subcommittee
The Newsletter Subcommittee is responsible for curating, developing, and distributing the Assyrian Studies Association quarterly newsletter quarterly, keeping our community informed and connected to the latest news, research, and developments in the field.

Fundraising Subcommittee
The Fundraising Subcommittee is responsible for raising funds to ensure the financial viability and stability of the organization. The subcommittee will identify potential individual donors, foundations, and corporations who may provide resources to ASA. The subcommittee will also create and organize fundraising events, and maintain donation records.

Publications Subcommittee
The Publications Subcommittee is responsible for out-of-print books in need of republishing to preserve their intended purpose; to undertake peer-reviews of the Association publication activities and report annually to the Board of Directors; and to serve on the committee to review academic grant applications.
